In studio photography, backdrop paper is hung behind, its smooth soft invisibility used to create a stage. ‘Die Falte’ puts the unseen on stage in an installation that sets a leftover piece of backdrop paper in crumpled state against photographs of the paper's infinity of hidden faces, blushed pink with soft edges.
